Lotus looks to ICQ

IDG News reports that Lotus is looking to link its Sametime software to AOL’s ICQ instant messaging software. Sametime can already connect with AOL Instant Messenger.

Here’a an article from ABCNEWS.com about Tiqit, a Web server that’s the size of a matchbox. Tiqit uses an Advanced Micro Devices 486 chip running at 66 megahertz, IBM’s 340 megabyte Microdrive, and 16 megabytes of RAM memory. It can run Windows 95.

Domino Design for Dreamweaver

Macromedia and Lotus announced availability of Lotus Domino Design Components for Macromedia Dreamweaver software. The release of these extensions affirms the companies’ joint intention to work together to develop, market, and deliver solutions that fuse Dreamweaver software with Lotus Domino. The Lotus Domino Design Components for Dreamweaver software are expected to be available at no charge from the Macromedia Exchange Web site and from the Lotus Developer Network site in the next 30 days.

Notrix 5.3 for Notes

Percussion Software announced the upgrade of Notrix, the company’s Lotus Domino data integration tool. Notrix 5.3 offers real-time connectivity to SAP R/3, allowing corporations to deliver SAP information to end users via Web browsers or Notes clients.
