ISG International announced an expanded relationship with IBM to support its WebSphere Application Server with back-office integration solutions. ISG Navigator supports access to applications and data running on IBM’s S/390, AIX and AS/400.

IBM introduced its WebSphere B2B Integrator software, which combines technologies from IBM’s integration and transaction software and is based on open XML technology. WebSphere B2B Integrator will be built on IBM’s WebSphere application server, MQSeries messaging software and open XML technology for the exchange of e-contracts called tpaML.

IT FACTORY announced that it plans to acquire Washington, D.C.-based Solutions By Design (SBD). IT FACTORY’s acquisition of SBD adds more than 75 highly qualified and experienced collaborative application engineers to its staff.
