NHL buys IBM’s stake in Web site

A lot of email

IBM announced that it has successfully handled more than 57,000 active Lotus Notes mail users on a single RS/6000 S80 server. In independent tests, a 24-way IBM RS/6000 Model S80 — running Lotus Domino Release 5.02 Mail — handled 57,600 concurrent mail users, twice as many as its predecessor and former Notes mail record holder, an IBM RS/6000 Enterprise Server S70.
