Lotus Development Corp. today announced that it will host the second annual Lotus Global Government Forum (LGGF) in Brussels from May 25 to 27, 1999. Tribeca Software announced their newest software application NetCFO 2.0. NetCFO is an accounting system for monitoring and charging back for traffic over corporate enterprise networks. The product allows IT managers to accurately understand and monitor usage of an enterprise network and provide detailed reports. These reports allow for a more precise budgeting process and give network managers a better understanding of which users and departments are using more bandwidth on the corporate network.

United Messaging announced that it has joined forces with Cisco Systems to help small and growing businesses use electronic messaging solutions. The approach will include integrating Cisco’s network capabilities to enhance United Messaging’s e-mail network services.

Lotus recently added new platforms and languages to Notes/Domino Release 5. Some of these include Domino for the AS/400, as well as Notes clients and Domino servers for Windows in Japanese, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and French.

Dragon NaturallySpeaking Enterprise was announced by Dragon Systems. The new Dragon NaturallySpeaking Enterprise software allows network administrators to install and manage Dragon NaturallySpeaking software from a central location. Network administrators can use the new Administrator Workbench to create and delete users, update vocabularies and speech commands.

Stampede Technologies began shipping its TurboGold Server-to-Server accelerator product for Lotus Notes. Stampede now brings its acceleration technology to Domino Servers.
