
ITM announced the release of PDF inFusion 2.0 for Lotus Notes. PDF inFusion enables collaborative document review, including annotating and managing PDF documents within Lotus Notes. PDF inFusion includes Adobe Acrobat 4.0 Business Basics and PDF inFusion Pro includes full Adobe Acrobat 4.0. PDF inFusion also integrates with Domino.Doc for document management capabilities.

Belarc announced that Lotus Development Corporation has licensed Belarc’s BelUpdate product for use in Lotus’ SuiteUpdate facility. SuiteUpdate enables Web site visitors and corporate Intranet users to automatically select and install the right SmartSuite updates on a Web page, based on their licensed installation of software and hardware.

NetObjects announced that its professional services division is working with Lotus Development Corp. and the Technology Services division of IKON Office Solutions to deliver custom intranet solutions and consulting services based on NetObjects and Lotus products. NetObjects will provide NetObjects Authoring Server Suite, as well as training services; Lotus will provide its Domino Application Server R5; and IKON will offer consulting expertise in Domino application development and enterprise integration.

WebTrends Corporation announced that the WebTrends product line is available through Tech Data. Tech Data will now offer WebTrends products through its reseller channel, in Canada, the United States and US territories.

Actual Software announced the release of version 3.0 of its MultiMail product. MultiMail allows users of Palm Computing platform devices to send and receive email directly from an email server and synchronize email with the PC or Macintosh platforms. MultiMail supports Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, and Novell GroupWise.

Lotus annpounced at DevCon 99 that it will support Microsoft’s Component Object Model (COM) in its Domino Application Server and Notes R5 Client. News.com says the COM support will allow Windows developers to build software that access Domino services and information on Windows technology.

The Jourmal of the American Medical Association has this story on an interactive Web site that will allow HIV-positive patients to report drug complications.
