SolutionPlanet releases planet.sfa version 46.3 with a lot of new features especially in the area of document management. Planet.sfa can analyze the text in a document and set keywords automatically depending on the content of the document comparing it to the list of standard and user entered keywords. Users can also search the internet using the keywords (and categories) entered for a document or contact.

IBM’s new services

IBM announced professional services to help customers build meta directories. These virtual repositories create a single, enterprise-wide view of directory information and simplify network user administration. The services consist of the analysis and planning, design and implementation, and support needed to consolidate a company’s disparate directories — such as Novell Directory Services, IBM Resource Access Control Facility (RACF), Lotus Domino, and Microsoft Windows NT Domain — into an enterprise meta directory.
