It happens a lot, Notes 8 client running with a Notes 7 mail template

Ross Hawkins knows there are reasons why someone might be using the 8 client with a 7 mail template and thinks most of them are pretty bad. The mix of new client and old template can cause a lot of user dissatisfaction.

Upgrading Domino 32 bit to 64 bit

Lotus Notes R8.5.1: Seamless Mail Upgrade

Marc Champoux recently upgraded some clients from R7 to R8.5.1 using the Seamless Mail Upgrade and he’d really like to see some sort of progress bar on the screen. It seems users don’t see the flashing lightning bolt.
