Mat Newman has been following some Twitter and "I hate Lotus Notes" sites with interest. Which has led him to contemplate why users hate Notes. He’s posted a short video from one user – who may have reason to hate his Notes developer.

$$ReturnAuthorizationFailure with session based authentication?

Patrick Kwinten is a little confused. He tried to implement a custom web authentication error page at the application level using a custom $$ReturnAuthorizationFailure form. But the form never appears. Does this actually work as he thinks it does?

Keep view position between (x)pages

Tom Steenbergen says by default (x)pages doesn’t keep the position of a view. If you back up from page 3, you’re taken to page 1, not 2. He’s posted some code to help you track pages in your applications.

IBM XWork Server news added to Oct 4th webcast

Chris Miller says the webcast on "What’s New in Notes, Domino, Traveler" has been expanded to include the XWork Server. Marie Scott will also be joining the panel. Registration is open.
