Unable to initialize Computer…

Martin Jinoch upgraded his Notes client on Linux to 8.5.3. Then he started getting odd errors about not being able to use the computer. He’s posted the fix, which may also work on Windows clients.

Managed beans and the revenge of the ACL

Urs Meli started upgrading a database to work through a web browser. But he couldn’t see any data, so he tried the usual debug routine. Still no data. Then he checked the ACL and saw the problem.

Updating Lotus Traveler 8.5.2.4

Kenio Carvalho reminds you to apply Traveler Fix Pack 4 before you upgrade the host Domino server to 8.5.2.3 or later. It seems an API call changes.

403 error on Traveler server for one device

Vladislav Tatarincev had a case where one Apple device could connect to Traveler while another could not. After determining it was a synchronization problem he finally had to sync things manually.
