iAnywhere to support Windows Mobile Treo

Sybase and its iAnywhere subsidiary announced plans to support Palm’s future line of Windows Mobile-based Treo smartphones. Windows Mobile devices such as the upcoming line of Treo smartphones, combined with Sybase iAnywhere mobile technology, will enable companies to manage and move data and content from the data center out to the front lines of business and back.

LogicaCMG demonstrates new products

LogicaCMG unveiled a series of live demonstrations at the 3GSM World Congress Asia in Singapore. Some of the key demonstrations being featured on a live platform include mobile content solutions such as Mobile Music Recognition, Central Address Book and Text to Speech voicemail. The Central Address Book enables the storage of contacts, pictures, calendar and tasks, on the operator’s network server. This data can be synchronized with SyncML-capable handsets, the mobile phone SIMcard, Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes on the desktop or personal digital assistant.

Logitech ioTags feature

Logitech unveiled the new Logitech ioTags feature, part of a software update to the Logitech io2 Digital Writing System. You can use basic handwritten symbols to identify tasks, calendar entries and email as you take notes with digital pen and paper during a meeting. When you dock the pen, the marked portions of the notes are automatically converted to text and imported into Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes.
