
<p>A 57-year-old Penticton man will spend time in jail for being in possession of child pornography on his home computer.</p><p>David Thorp was sentenced to a 90 day intermittent jail sentence, starting this Friday, followed by two years probation, in a Penticton courtroom on Monday.</p><p>He earlier pled guilty to a charge of possession of child pornography. Charges of accessing and importing or distributing it were stayed.</p><p>Judge Gale Sinclair said after reading the pre sentence report and psychiatric assessment regarding Thorp, that it is likely a brain injury he suffered 15 tears ago led to depression and apathy.</p><p><a href="http://www.castanet.net/edition/news-story-103382-21-.htm">Keep reading...</a></p>
