
<p>Unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) vendor, Polycom, has opened office in Brisbane, hoping to capitalise from what it sees as a "particularly strong region for growth."</p><p>In addition to running its Queensland operations, the facility will feature a Solutions Centre to showcase a selection of the company's open, standards-based UC solutions and services which form part of the RealPresence platform.</p><p>"Our Queensland business has been growing year-over-year and there is definitely an appetite from local businesses for video collaboration solutions," Polycom Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) managing director, Gary Denman, said.</p><p>"Organisations have changed the way they communicate, collaborate and connect, especially across regions as vast as Queensland.
