<p>Multimedia and cloud communications solutions provider Genband is launching its Smart Office unified communications suite via Samsung Mobile's fledgling Samsung Solutions Exchange app portal for business users.</p><p>Smart Office enables enterprises to extend office-based multimedia communications to any mobile phone, tablet, computer or approved device, enabling employees to carry their communications and collaboration environment wherever they go. Features include office/mobile call handoff; video, web and mobile VoIP calling, conferencing and collaboration; web messaging and presence; unified multimedia messaging and Microsoft Office integration.</p><p>Genband and Samsung first announced plans to join forces on UC services delivery earlier this year. Genband offers Samsung Mobile devices through its service provider customers and large systems integrator partners, promising business users access to its Innovation Exchange program, which provides new UC solutions developed specifically for the enterprise community and industry verticals.</p><p>Samsung Solutions Exchange went live last month.
