His appointment strengthens the Concurrent executive leadership as the company scales to support new growth and the delivery of a commercial product.</p><p>Lazear most recently served as senior director of product management and product marketing for F5 Networks, where he was responsible for on-premise and cloud firewall security solutions. Prior to F5 Networks, Lazear also held several senior-level product management and product marketing roles at Juniper Networks, Verisign, Smartpipes and 3Com. In his new role, Lazear will be responsible for leading the planning, forecasting and marketing of Concurrent's open source and commercial product suite.</p><p>Lazear joins a veteran leadership team that includes Gary Nakamura, CEO; Paul O'Leary, vice president of engineering; and Chris Wensel, the company's founder and CTO.
