<p>ICT infrastructure solutions provider, UXC Connect, has partnered with Alcatel-Lucent to launch an integrated telephony-as-a-service (iTaaS) solution to deliver unified communications (UC) as a service to Australian enterprises.</p><p>The Cloud-based solution is designed to address the challenge of delivering communications services to mobile, application-driven workforces. It will leverage Alcatel-Lucent's OpenTouch Suite for Cloud to enable collaborative conversations via the Cloud, while giving employees the ability to move between personal and professional features on devices as required.</p><p>OpenTouch software is virtualised to fit into datacentres and can be offered by providers through a flexible licensing model.</p><p>"Our iTaaS solution has been developed in close consultation with our customers to ensure we offer a feature-rich range of telephony, UC and collaboration tools that can be delivered in a way that will support businesses and IT strategies for enterprise customers," UXC Connect CEO, Ian Poole, said.</p><p><a href="http://www.arnnet.com.au/article/525146/uxc_launches_alcatel-lucent-based_integrated_telephony-as-a-service/">Keep reading...</a></p>
