<p>Former Wipro Executive Vivek Paul has sold KineticGlue, the social software company which he founded in 2008, to BMC Software. The deal closed six weeks ago for an undisclosed sum, yourstory.in states. The promoter has plans for another startup.</p><p>Prior to Kinetic Glue, Paul led the medical equipment business for GE in India and helped Wipro grow from $150Mn in revenues to a $1.4Bn global firm. He also founded Akansa Capital, and was a partner at TPG, a leading PE investment firm.</p><p>In 2010, the company had acquired Bangalore-based start-up Injoos Web Solutions Private Limited, a company building social media tools for the enterprise. The acquisition helped in expanding KineticGlue's offerings and accelerate its own product development. Future Group, Dell India and L&T are among its top customers.</p><p>Founded in 2008, Kinetic Glue is a networking platform where one can network with his/her colleagues; collaborate with the team at one place. Inside KineticGlue one can have open thread conversations with each discussion thread getting interlinked to topics which are relevant to the discussion.
