
<p>Jerry Chen, has left EMC Corp. subsidiary VMware Inc. to join Greylock Partners as partner.</p><p>Jerry Chen, who spent nearly a decade at EMC Corp. (NYSE: EMC) subsidiary VMware Inc., has left the company to join the world of investing.</p><p>Chen, the former vice president of cloud and application services at Palo Alto, Calif.-based VMware, has joined Greylock Partners as its newest partner.</p><p>While at VMware, Chen was responsible for the launch of "dozens" of products, including many 1.0 releases. Chen also started two new business units for the company, including the Cloud Application Platform and the Enterprise Desktop business units.
