<p>Spindle, whose CEO and co-founder is Pat Kinsel, has been acquired by Twitter.</p><p>Twitter has acquired Spindle Labs, a Boston social content discovery startup, and the Spindle team will now re-locate to San Francisco, the startup said in a blog post Wednesday.</p><p>It's the third acquisition of a Boston-area startup for Twitter, which has previously acquired Crashlytics in January and Bluefin Labs in February.</p><p>Spindle has been led by three veterans of the Microsoft Cambridge office, and had raised $2.3 million in funding from backers including Polaris Venture Partners, Atlas Venture, Greylock Partners and SV Angel.</p><p><a href="http://www.bizjournals.com/boston/blog/startups/2013/06/twitter-moving-startup-spindle-to-sf.html">Keep reading...</a></p>
