<p>Engineering consultancy MottMacDonald today confirmed it was adopting a unified communications (UC) system from TataCommunications.</p><p>The companies have signed a five-year deal worth over $20m, which will see Tata become the MottMacDonald's global communications partner.</p><p>Mott MacDonald which has worked on projects as high-profile as WembleyStadium and the Channel Tunnel employs almost 15,000 staff worldwide across 50 countries, socollaboration tools are a necessity.</p><p>"With over 168 offices around the world and projects in 140 countries, Mott MacDonald can bringtogether and access an enormous wealth of talent, insight and information," said Darren Russell,global IT director Mott MacDonald.
