<p>Algerie Telecom Mobile (Mobilis) has signed an IT upgrade contract with IBM and its partner Comparex Algerie, La Tribune reports. The agreement will help the mobile operator improve its customer services, said CEO Saad Damma. Mobilis has chosen IBM hardware and Lotus Domino software and Comparex Algerie services. The solution will also help Mobilis's 4,300 staff work remotely and communicate better through e-mail and instant messaging.
