
<p>London, 5 March 2013: Day one of Unified Communications Expo has seen a number of high profile product launches and a strong turnout for the event's seminar series. There was standing-room only for the day's two keynotes, by Microsoft's Chief Envisioning Officer, Dave Coplin, and INSEAD eLab Associate Director Dr. Nils Olaya Fonstad.</p><p>In "Business Reimagined - The changing role of technology in the workplace", Coplin explored the challenges and opportunities the web presents as it becomes ubiquitous across all of our devices and impacts upon every aspect of our social and professional lives.</p><p>Coplin said: "The office environment and our working practices haven't actually changed significantly since the 1950s, we may have digitised the methods but we're essentially doing the same things we've always done and in the same place. Technology can now empower businesses and their employees to work in the ways that are most effective.
