<p>A screenshot of a VoIP call via the CommuniGate Pro unified communications tool.</p><p>CommuniGate Systems, a developer of unified communications software that targets web hosting providers as a distribution channel, announced this week that it has released version 6.0 of its CommuniGate Pro tool, adding VoIP security enhancements, performance improvements and a new HTML 5 client.</p><p>CommuniGate made a strong push for significance in the hosting market in September when it launched an open-source cPanel adaptor kit, designed to enable hosting providers to deliver its high-end unified communications tools from a VPS environment.</p><p>Information and a demo of the CommuniGate cPanel adaptor are available online, as is the downloadable code for the open source cPanel adaptor.</p><p><a href="http://www.thewhir.com/web-hosting-news/communigate-unified-communications-tool-launches-version-6-0">Keep reading...</a></p>
