<p>Engineering firm Mott MacDonald willroll out Microsoft products globally over the next year as it moves towards a Microsoft-centricbusiness strategy.</p><p>More than 12,000 of the company's staff in 140 countries will have access to Microsoft Windows7, Office 2010 and Lync, and will implement the latest version of SharePoint when it is launchednext year.</p><p>The roll-outs will benefit teams spread across the world that are working on projects together,as well as the increasing numbers of remote and mobile staff.</p><p>Windows 7 will provide data protection through anti-virus and encryption enforcement, while AppLockerwill enable the IT department to specify and manage exactly what is allowed to run on userdesktops.</p><p><a href="http://www.computerweekly.com/news/2240174934/Mott-MacDonald-rolls-out-Microsoft-software-globally">Keep reading...</a></p>
