<p>Indian conglomerate Bajaj Group is using Polycom's RealPresence video systems to enhance its operations and also collaboration between the company's corporate headquarters in Mumbai and Noida, its group companies, and six power plants, operated by the energy division, in remote locations across India. With Polycom's RealPresence video systems, ranging from RealPresence Desktop systems and the Polycom VVX 1500 (business media phone with video collaboration) to RealPresence Immersive (Polycom RPX) and RealPresence HDX Room systems, Bajaj Group has increased efficiencies across its business units, namely for the energy sector, and enhanced collaboration across employee communications, processes and executive board meetings.</p><p>The complete system is powered by the Polycom RealPresence Platform, the interoperable software infrastructure for universal HD video collaboration, which provides provisioning, management and security. The RealPresence Platform's support for interoperability transforms islands of employees and fragmented communications systems into a video enterprise, which makes video securely accessible to all authorised personnel whether they are mobile, remote, or on-site.</p><p>Bajaj Group deployed Polycom's Immersive Telepresence ImmersiveCare Services offering dedicated adoption services and ongoing support for RealPresence Immersive services including software updates and upgrades, advance parts replacement, onsite support and telephone access to technical experts. Bajaj Group has shown interest for expanded use of Polycom's RealPresence Platform by integrating the software into existing IBM Sametime desktop clients, allowing users launch video collaboration sessions from within familiar interfaces and normal workflows.</p><p>RealPresence systems offer native integration with IBM Sametime and IBM Connections.
