<p>Platronics has announced its new flagship call control software, Spokes. Spokes is a comprehensive software product family that makes it easier to find, connect and collaborate when using a Platronics audio device in conjunction with the customer's preferred UC software platform, and features call capabilities including answer/end, volume adjust and mute. IT managers can deploy and manage Spokes software across the enterprise using Platronics Enterprise Manager (PEM) and software developers can create a range of smart applications that leverage contextual information known by the audio device using the Spokes SDK. Spokes software is available for Windows, Mac and IBM Sametime (Windows).</p><p>Customers who use Spokes software with a Platronics Voyager Pro UC headset have access to capabilities including the ability to answer calls as soon as the headset is placed on their ear, pause Media Player when the headset is removed, lock the headset call answer button when the headset is not being worn, transfer audio from a mobile call to a mobile phone when the headset is removed, update presence status when on a Skype call and change presence status to 'on phone' when UC is on a mobile, UC call or desk phone call.</p><p><a href="http://www.telecompaper.com/news/platronics-introduces-spokes-call-control-software">Keep reading...</a></p>
