That's the number of social media savvy follows, subscribers and likes the top 100 social</p><p>charities are getting in the UK today, according to the second annual Social Charity Index.</p><p>The figure's doubled since the first Social Charity study was done, 12 months ago. The top 100 charities have now amassed 3.7 million followers on Twitter between them, up from two million last year, and on Facebook they have seven million followers compared to 3.5 million a year ago. Charities even attract over a million supporters on Google+.
