EAL4+ represents the highest level of assurance awarded to commercial grade applications and demonstrates that UniCERT underwent thorough and extensive evaluation to verify the functional integrity and security of its Certification and Registration Authority infrastructure.

Common Criteria evaluations represent a globally developed and acknowledged set of criteria for evaluating IT security products and platforms used by the international community. Because security products are developed by different companies using a variety of standards--not all of them internationally recognized--Common Criteria evaluation ensures every product is tested using a common set of criteria, and compliance can be accurately compared to that of other products.
