IBM announced it has <A HREF="http://www-03.ibm.com/press/us/en/pressrelease/21164.wss">completed its acquisition of Softek Storage Solutions,</A> a privately held company based in Vienna, Virginia.

Through this acquisition, IBM is assembling the most complete and unified data mobility offerings and worldwide delivery expertise for managing data in storage array, host, and virtualized information technology environments.

IBM had announced an agreement to acquire Softek on January 29. Now that the acquisition is complete, Softek will become part of the Storage and Data Services business unit in IBM Global Technology Services.
