IBM plans to make its <A HREF="http://www.informationweek.com/story/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=3D167600">enterprise search middleware</A> available as open-source code. It's called Unstructured Information Management Architecture. The company also is wedding the latest iteration of its WebSphere Information Integrator OmniFind Edition with UIMA.
