
IBM reported its second quarter results with total revenue of $22.3 billion, down 4 percent versus the second quarter of 2004, but up 6 percent without the impact of the divested PC business. Revenues from IBM's middleware brands, which include WebSphere, DB2, Tivoli, Lotus and Rational products, were $3.0 billion, up 11 percent versus the second quarter of 2004.
