IBM Corp. plans to launch in the second half of this year an API (application programming interface) for linking the <A HREF="http://cio-asia.com/ShowPage.aspx?pagetype=3D2&articleid=3D1882&pubid=3D5">Lotus Sametime</A> enterprise instant messaging product to VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) platforms, mobile phones and traditional office telephony systems.
