<A HREF="http://www.zdnet.com/sp/stories/news/0,4538,2611179,00.html">ZDNet</A> reports that IBM plans to release open-source code for a Linux edition of its emerging Sash Weblications development environment and Weblication plug-ins that will include a Lotus Notes client. At a press event, IBM officials said that Sash Weblications is meant to let non-programmers such as Web site designers create complex applications integrating middleware like IBM's MQSeries and DB2 database.
