Microsoft announced that the <A HREF="http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-200-1452031.html?tag=st.cn.1.lthdne">latest version</A> of its MSN Messenger service won't communicate with America Online's AOL Instant Messenger. News.com reports that Microsoft's decision was based on an AOL software bug that could be a security risk for MSN users.
