NetIQ announced a new <A HREF="http://www.netiq.com ">product module</A> that provides integration between Legato NetWorker and the NetIQ AppManager Suite. With support for Legato NetWorker added to the NetIQ product family, IT personnel can now use AppManager to monitor the health of their Legato NetWorker backup solution that provides data protection for those same servers and applications. The NetIQ AppManager Suite provides monitoring of Windows NT- and Windows 2000-based systems and applications such as Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Citrix WinFrame, Oracle and Lotus Domino.
