NSD (Notes System Diagnostics) files have been updated for the following operating systems: AIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows and Domino versions: 6.5.3, 6.5.4, 6.5.5, 6.5.6, 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3, 8.0, 8.0.1. Remember to check your current installation before upgrading to these files.

Defrag.NSF

Fragmented databases are slower to respond than non-fragmented ones. Defrag.NSF is a database-oriented utility allowing you to defragment databases and pre-allocate contiguous free space to be added to your databases. Configure Defrag.NSF to automatically integrate the running of tasks and perform maintenance on selected databases.

New article: It’s still a small world

I originally published "It’s a small world" in DominoPower back in 1998. It was the story of a female Notes administrator who was most unfairly treated, late one night at Newark airport on the eve of Thanksgiving. I’m reprinting it now, exactly 10 years later, in honor of Thanksgiving, that woman, Notes and Domino people everywhere, our new President-elect, and the American people. It may still be a small world, but maybe – just maybe – we’re growing up.
