Startup script for Sametime 8.5 on Linux

Sasa Brkic has posted a startup script that can be used to start DB2 on a Linux server. Sasa has included links to several other pages with startup scripts to automatically start Sametime and Domino on Windows servers.

No. It hasn’t a thing to do with Notes. Keith Brooks posted a link to this advertisement, and I made the mistake of opening it. Now, I can’t get the image out of my head – a computer center filled with servers in HabiCases, rodents merrily dashing about. Though it would make long stints in amongst the servers more entertaining.

Domino on Win2008 Hotfix Needed for Performance / Hang Issue

Daniel Nashed’s customer was getting a server hang when shutting down Domino on a Win2008 server. If you’ve run into this problem, there is a hotfix available. Daniel has posted links to more information.

Designing for the notes client? The peril of using color gradients in tables
