How to extend Notes 8: New version of the demo application

Mikkel Heisterberg says if you had trouble running his earlier demo application, he’s updated it to remove the Notes Java UI API. The API was not backward compatible.

The Notes UI and Sending a Link to a File

Gavin Bollard was having a bad day. A user wanted to send a link to a file, not the whole file, to someone and couldn’t figure it out. After much experimentation, and research, Gavin found a method that works. He’s posted his finding in case you need to do the same thing.

Need Help on Odd Domino HTTP Issue / XPages

Jeremy Hodge has a server running SuSE Linux and Domino 8.5.1 that’s taking its own good time to answer any database calls sent via HTTP and Jeremy would like to know how to fix it. If you have any ideas, he’d like to hear from you.

This IBM site provides a number of videos and demonstrations of a number of IBM Lotus and WebSphere Portal products. Some of them, delegating your mail, are a couple of minutes in length while others, creating mashups, are a couple of hours long. All are free.
