
<p>Canadian software and enterprise information management (EIM) company OpenText has opened its first Australian data center in Sydney.</p><p>The company said the facility will be used to enable its Australian customers to access a variety of high-performance EIM applications from a locally hosted OpenText Cloud environment.</p><p>It said for local public sector organizations and highly regulated industries it allows data to remain in-country.</p><p>The company said the location of the Sydney facility will boost OpenText Cloud performance for local customers through lower latency times.</p><p><a href="http://www.datacenterdynamics.com/focus/archive/2014/03/opentext-opens-first-australian-facility">Keep reading...</a></p>
