
<p>Three months post-launch, the new Atlassian Marketplace, a one-stop shop to easily discover, buy and manage free and commercial add-ons, has surpassed $1 million in transactions with an average monthly growth rate of 60 percent. Atlassian, the leading provider of collaboration software for product teams, today kicks off its fifth annual developer conference, AtlasCamp, here by announcing new third-party partners and offerings, and introducing a new version of its Atlassian Plugin SDK (software developers kit). The Atlassian Marketplace now features 112 commercial and 1,200 free add-ons, up 32 percent from its June 1st launch.</p><p>"Five years ago, we started with the goal of producing a groundbreaking enterprise software marketplace that leverages our unique business model, enabling developers to easily build and sell high value add-on products to enterprise product teams around the globe" said Daniel Freeman, Atlassian's vice president of product marketing. "In just three months, we've outpaced every ambitious business metric we forecasted. With Atlassian Marketplace we're all in we've committed the resources, time and technology to empower our amazing developer ecosystem to delight the millions of people who use Atlassian products."</p><p>Sixty-one new organizations have recently joined companies like Balsamiq, Tempo and Zephyr in the Atlassian Marketplace to gain access to Atlassian's customer base consisting of more than 22,000 of the world's best enterprise and startup organizations. Third-party partners who build businesses on top of the Atlassian platform can leverage a simplified end user license agreement; access the billing, invoicing and licensing services; and utilize consolidated customer renewal processing. Nearly 147,000 free and commercial downloads and 5,500 evaluations of commercial add-ons occurred during last month alone.</p><p>"We've seen our sales increase by nearly 30 percent," exclaimed Petur Agustsson, director of product marketing at Tempo, provider of time tracking software. "The Atlassian Marketplace streamlines our sales and renewals process, cutting down on our administrative work and giving us more time to focus on things like product development and lead generation.
