<p>Microsoft has introduced Office 365 Message Encryption, a new version of Exchange Hosted Encryption (EHE) to simplify encryption of email on multiple platforms.</p><p>Office 365 Messaging Encryption allows users to send encrypted messages to recipients at other companies and supports email applications such as Outlook.com, Yahoo, Gmail, Exchange Server, Lotus Notes, GroupWise and Squirrel Mail.</p><p>Consider mandatory e-mail encryption policies. Use encryption to comply with government regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in health care and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) in financial services.
